Play golf at Papago Golf Course located only four miles from the Arizona Biltmore Estates area. The public 18-hole golf course & wedding venue has been open since 1963. The club’s revitalization was formed between the City of Phoenix, Arizona State University and the Arizona Golf Community Foundation. Designed by the award-winning Phoenix-based Douglas Fredrikson Architects includes a private, world-class ASU golf team practice facility, public practice facilities and a new entrance off McDowell Road. The Lou Grubb Clubhouse is state-of-the-art includes the Lou’s Bar and Grill. There is a statue of the late Heather Farr, 1987 NCAA women’s golf team national champion who passed away from cancer and a history wall commemorating ASU and Phoenix golf history adorn the lobby.
